The illustration is a powerful representation of beauty and delicacy. Inspired by Chasca, the Inca goddess of beauty and flowers, the goddess Chaska appears in all her glory. The woman, with her celestial aura and star band, embodies the connection between the human and the divine, inviting us to reflect on the essence of femininity, admiration, and respect for the fleeting beauty of flowers and of life itself.

The origin of the goddess comes from Inca astronomical observations, associating her with the planet Venus, symbolizing both the morning and evening stars, and thus connecting her to the god Inti, whose sunlight brings forth the flowers.

The upward gaze symbolizes a connection with the divine and the quest for enlightenment. The headband with the star symbol represents the light and guidance that the goddess embodies. Her flowing, curly hair symbolizes the deity’s power as well as freedom and spontaneity, while her hands, delicately poised yet powerful, signify her femininity. The flowers around her shoulders, forming a heart, represent the love and fleeting beauty of nature.

The connection with the god Inti is seen in the sun behind her, appearing as either a sunrise or sunset. This union between the gods reflects a beginning and an end, like a cycle in nature—a constant renewal of life and the divine presence in the earthly world.

This image invites us to reflect on the beauty that resides within each woman, beyond physical appearance. It serves as a reminder that true beauty lies in our inner connection, our spirituality, and our capacity to love.

This image is a tribute to the beauty of nature and the love of life, an invitation to connect with our essence and celebrate our true nature, as well as to accept the cycles of life that are in constant renewal.
